The Boys Varsity Bowling Team competed in the Holiday Varsity Bowling Tournament this past Saturday at Camelot Lanes in Boardman. Bowling on very tough lane conditions, the guys advanced to the head to head portion of the tournament finishing as the seventh seed after bowling 20 games.
The Bulldogs faced second seed Girard in the first round. After losing the first game of the best of five series they came back to win the next three in a row to advance to the semifinals.
Facing Howland, they again lost the first game but came back to win the next three to advance to the finals.
Facing Fairport Harbor, the Bulldogs lost three straight to finish in second place for the second time in two tournaments. The guys represented themselves and their school well.
