Tonight, the Green Bulldogs traveled to North Canton and were defeated 62-58 by the Hoover Vikings. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 11-2 lead and it looked like Green was going to blow the Vikings out of their own gym. However, Hoover's Sencire Harris hit a three towards the end of the first quarter and seemed to ignite his team even though they were down 11-5 as time expired in the first. In the second quarter, the Vikings cut into the lead as Zach Yun came off the bench to hit two threes while Harris added another three to help close the gap to only a two point lead by Green. The half time score was Green 25-Hoover 23. The Vikings came out on fire and Harris scored 18 of his 28 points in the second half which gave the Vikings the win. Jonah McCartney and Jonah Ashby added 10 points each. Green's Kaleb Martin with 25 points and Donovan O'Neil with 11 points led th Bulldog charge.Martin was 11 for 11 from the free throw line which makes him 25 for 25 on the season.
