Tonight, the Green Boys Varsity Basketball Team improved its record to 17-2 by defeating the host Copley Indians by a score of 83-38. Green had the lead at the end of the first quarter with a score of 23-4 and it was 49-20 at half time. And later, at the end of the third quarter Green was up 72-33. The Bulldogs outscored the Indians 11-5 in the fourth quarter to take an 83-38 win in a non-league game. It was a big night for Senior Shea Simmer who had five threes and scored a season high 19 points, while Donovan O'Neill pounded inside scoring 17. Nathan Smith also had a great game scoring 16 and Alex Casper added 15.Copley's leader was Cole Beck with 10. The Bulldogs host Akron Ellet on Friday night starting at 6:00.
