On Monday, Green High School hosted the 2021 Green Invitational Boys Varsity Golf Tournament at the Par 72 Ohio Prestwick Country Club.  Twenty-one schools participated and the Bulldogs finished second behind Hoban(288) with a score of 308. Once again, Sophomore Kyle Smith led the Bulldogs with a 2 under Par 70, which was one shot behind Coop Pamer from Hudson who took Medalist honors with a score of 69. Kyle shot a 36 on the front nine and came back with 34 on the back nine and felt like he could have easily gotten into the 60s after missing 2 or 3 short putts. Also scoring and playing very well for Green was Junior Grant Schlue who had  very nice nines of 39-37 for a 76. Rounding out the scoring for the Bulldogs were Seniors Matt Stephan and Nathan Raymond shooting identical rounds of 39-42 for scores of 81. Green's Trez Cobb added a 38-46-84 but did not score for the Bulldogs. 

Green will travel on Thursday to face the Lake Blue Streaks at Seven Hills for a Federal League match up starting around 3:30.
