The Green High Boys Varsity Golf Team is headed next Monday to play in the District Golf Tournament at Pine Hills after coming in second yesterday at Tannenhauf Golf Course in the Sectional Tournament. The team shot a score of 305 on the Par 72 course which was two shots behind the first place Jackson Polar Bears who shot 303. The Bulldog's Senior Matt Stephan fired a one over par 73(35-38) to finish as the runner-up individual in the tournament. Sophomore Kyle Smith finished with a 76(39-37) knocking in a birdie putt on the final while Senior Nathan Raymond(39-39) and Junior Grant Schlue(38-40) added to the scoring with nice rounds of 78. Also playing for the Bulldogs was Trez Cobb who shot a score of 82(38-44). The Green Team will tee of next Monday, October 11, beginning at 9:50 A.M. on the front nine at Pine Hills in Hinckley, Ohio.
