Luke Ickes' 3-pointer to start the game gave Green their only lead until the 1:36 mark of the 4th quarter. Trailing 35-24 to start the final frame, the Bulldogs outscored the Golden Eagles 18-4 in the quarter to secure a 42-39 victory at GlenOak. Ben Pine & Isaiah Weirich led the Bulldogs with 10 points each, with Weirich scoring 8 in the 4th, including 2 3-pointers, one of which sealed the victory. Luke Ickes finished with 9 points, and Aiden Mastaso (5), Carter Daly (4), Jack Szarnicki (3), and Mark Danner (1) rounded out the scoring. Mark Danner's steal of a GlenOak inbound pass with 5.5 seconds remaining ended the game.
Pine's 6 rebounds and 3 assists led the team in each category. The 4th quarter included 4 3-point shots by Ickes (2), Szarnicki, and Weirich (2), including the game-winner.
Green moves to 8-6 on the season and will take on Jackson High School on Monday at Green.
