GBK Picks Up Back-to Back Wins vs. Lake

The Lady Bulldogs defeat Lake tonight 39-33 for the second time this week. A slow start put the Bulldogs in an 8 point deficit going into the half. The second half was a different story. Green extended their pressure full court and were able to turn the Blue Streaks over 10 times in the second half. The Bulldogs gained the lead going into the fourth and clutch free-throws sealed the win late in the game. Alyssa Ziehler led all scorers of the game with 15 points, all of which came in the second half. Brianna Hunt also had a big scoring night finishing with 12. Olivia Payne and Mallory Oddo added 6. The Bulldogs take on Perry on Saturday at Perry. JV starts at 1:00 pm and Varsity will begin at 1:45 pm.
