The Lady Bulldogs defeated Willoughby South this afternoon 79-36 in the first round state tournament game. Green started the game strong and didn't look back as they maintained the lead throughout the entire game. Olivia Payne had a huge night with her career high 30 points. Payne shot 5-5 from behind the arc and dished out a career high in assists to help her teammates score. One of those teammates was fellow senior Ana Kulina who also had a career night with 8 points, multiple rebounds, and 3 huge blocks. In addition, 9 other players on the team added to the score column to help round up a big team win.
The Lady Bulldogs play Jackson on the road Thursday night for the sectional final game.
