CUYAHOGA VALLEY CHRISTIAN ACAD: 12
The Bulldogs Girls Lacrosse team fell Wednesday to a strong CVCA team by a score of 12-5. Although they lost, there were several team and individual victories to mention. After a tough first half falling behind 9-0 the defense stiffened up and only allowed 3 points in the second half, thanks in part to Sophomore Goalie Lidia Zorn who tallied 12 saves total on the day. The offense also came on strong scoring 5 goals in the second half. Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Zanna Belacic with 3 goals and Mackenzie Holeman with 2. Mackenzie Holeman also performed well within the draw circle keeping the powerful Royals offense at bay. The Lady Bulldogs next opponent is North Canton next Saturday, April 1st at home starting at 1:00 PM.
