Green advanced to the District finals with a 6-4 win over Lake Monday. Green trailed early 4-0 but came back behind a 3 run HR from SO Kayley Duskey in the 3rd inning. The Bulldogs would add 2 more runs in the 4th to make it a 6-4 game. SR Ella Collinsworth and SO Brooke Heisroth both went 2 for 3. SO Avery Robinson came in to pithc in the 3rd inning and held Lake scoreless the rest of the game to preserve the win. The Bulldogs, now 19-6, will play Perry Wednesday night at 5pm in the District Championship game.
