Green lost a tough one in the District finals to Perry 6-5 in 10 Innings. The Bulldogs had leads of 3-1 and 5-3 but couldn't hold on to advance to the Regionals. SO pitchers Avery Robinson and Jenna Pulley held Perry to just 3 earned runs over 10 innings but 3 unearned runs did the Bulldogs in. Green got on the board in the 3rd inning with back to back HR's by SO Brooke Heisroth and SO Kaylie Duskey. The Bulldogs took a 5-3 lead in the 8th inning on SO Kylie Gorsuch's HR. Perry was able to push 2 across in the bottom of the 8th on some Green miscues and would win it in the 10th with a close play at the plate. Green will finish the season at home Friday vs Jackson at 5pm with a chance to earn a share of the Federal League title.
