On Saturday, Junior Laina Swartzwelder broke the 200 freestyle school record at the Northeast Classic Invitational. She swam 1:56.94 during prelims held at The University of Akron. The previous record was 1:57.67, held by Olivia Elgin.
Senior Olivia Scheibelhoffer broke her school record in the 50 freestyle in a very exciting swim-off held at the end of prelims. She swam 24.17. Come support these girls and the rest of the GHS swimmers at the Federal League Meet on January 24 at CT Branin Natatorium in Canton.
