Boys Varsity Bowling Sectional Tournament

Bulldogs Lose: -
The boys bowling team advanced to the State District Tournament by finishing in second place at Eastbury Lanes Saturday. The Bulldogs were led by senior Jordan Norris who started the day off by just missing the elusive 300 game. He opened the game with five strikes in a row, leaving just one pin in the sixth and making the spare. He then bowled six more strikes to finish with a 279 game. Jason Graham, Cashus Snyder, and Ray Hedrick all bowled games over 200 during the tournament. The District tournament is Sunday February 22 at Stondhedge Lanes.

Bulldogs Win: 1929.00 - 1845.00
The boys bowling team completed their regular season with a victory over Massillon Thursday at Hall of Fame Lanes by a score of 1929-1845. Jordan Norris had the only game over 200 for the bulldogs by rolling an impressive 234 on a difficult oil pattern.
The bowling team finished with a 12-6 overall record and an 8-4 record in the Federal League.
Good luck at Sectionals this weekend guys.

Bulldogs Win: 2739.00 - 2490.00
The Bulldogs defeated Coventry at Turkeyfoot Lanes Tuesday by a score of 2739-2490. Junior Nathan Snyder led the dogs with games of 247 and 201. Jordan Norris also bowled a fine 234 game. Senior Cashus Snyder also shot a 217 during the match. This leaves the Bulldogs at 8-4 in the Federal League and 11-6 overall with one match to play. Good luck guys.

Nathan Snyder just missed perfection in a victory over Jackson Wednesday afternoon. Nathan just missed a perfect 300 game by leaving one pin on his final shot of the game. He finished with a fantastic 299. Cashus Snyder bowled games of 231 and 225 for his season high series. Jordan Norris and Jace Flaker also shot games over 200 in the victory. This leaves the Bulldogs with a 9-5 overall record and 8-4 in the Federal League.

The boys bowling team defeated Marlington High School Wednesday at Turkeyfoot Lanes by a score of 2478-1749. This raises the team's record to 8-4 overall and 7-4 in the Federal League. Both Cashus Snyder and Jordan Norris shot two game totals over 350. They face a strong Triway team Thursday at Triway Lanes. Good luck guys.

The boys bowling team defeated previously undefeated Perry High School Wednesday at Turkeyfoot Lanes by a score of 2659-2471. The bulldogs were led by senior Jordan Norris who bowled games of 224 and 218. sophomore Jason Graham also bowled a team high 228 during the match. The team had their best baker series of the season by bowling games of 236,231,210, and 177 to seal the victory. Good luck next week guys.

The boys bowling team fell to North Canton Hoover last night by a score of 2583-2667 at Park Centre Lanes. Jordan Norris, Jason Graham, and Jace Flacker all had games over 200 in the defeat. The team bowled their best baker series of the season by averaging 198 for the four games. Good luck against undefeated Perry.

The boys bowling team lost a heartbreaker to McKinley High School Wednesday by a score of 2454-2458. Losing by a meager 4 pins to fall to 6-3 overall, and in the Federal League. The Bulldogs were led by senior Jordan Norris who bowled games of 203 and 224. The guys were behind by over one hundred pins heading into the baker portion of the match. They shot a 243 in the third game to get within reach for the win. However, McKinley held on in the final game to win by four pins. Good luck with tournaments over the Holidays.

The victory brings the Bulldog's season record to 6-1 overall, and in the Federal League. Sophomore Jason Graham had the high game for the Bulldogs with a 237, senior Jordan Norris was not far behind with a 231. Nathan Snyder had the high two game series with a 432 by bowling two games of 216.
They face McKinley High School Friday in an important match at Strike Zones Lanes. Good luck Bulldogs!!

The boys bowling team defeated Jackson at Turkeyfoot Lanes by a score of 2639-2313 Wednesday afternoon. They were led by senior Jordan Norris who bowled a two game series of 438, and a high game of 231. Junior Nathan Snyder was not far behind with a 429, and high game of 216. Way to go guys. This puts the team at 5-1 overall and in the Federal League. Good luck at the tournament this coming weekend.

Jason Graham bowls second 300 in Green High School history in victory over Glenoak. He was a "LITTLE" nervous entering the final frame but he stayed calm and collective to bowl the elusive perfect game. CONGRATULATIONS Jason.
The final score of the match was 2585-2484. It was a very close match heading into the baker games but the Bowldogs were solid and won the match. They are now 4-1 overall and in the Federal League. They face Jackson on Wednesday at Turkeyfoot lanes at 4pm. Good luck guys.

The Boys Bowling Team won a Federal League match against Glenoak Wednesday at Turkeyfoot Lanes by a score of 2642-2583. Senior Jordan Norris had the high series for the bulldogs with a 418 two game series. Junior Nathan Snyder Shot a 405 with a high game of 222. Jason Graham also had a game over 200 with a 208. The victory gives the 'dogs a 3-1 overall and Federal League record.

The boys bowling team fell to Perry High School Monday at Hall of Fame Lanes by a score of 2712-2590. The guys were led by Cashus Snyder with a two game series of 428. His high game was 235. Jordan Norris was not to be outdone by much, he shot a 423 series with a high game of 255. Jason Graham also shot a nice 227 game. The match was close until a rash of open frames cost them in the second baker game. Good luck Wednesday at Turkeyfoot against Glenoak.

The boys bowling team defeated North Canton Hoover at Turkeyfoot Lanes Wednesday by a score of 2540-2322. The Bulldogs were led again by junior Nathan Snyder. He bowled games of 218 and 226 for a 222 average on the night. Jordan Norris also bowled a the team and match high game with a 237. The team in now 2-0 overal and 2-0 in Federal League play. The boys bowling team finished as the 4th seed after 20 games in a 16 team field this past Saturday. With this performance they advanced to the head to head competition. They defeated Federal League opponent McKinley High School in three games. They then faced East Canton, and dropped in two games. It was a successful first tournament of the year with only one returning varsity member bowling. Good luck this season guys.
