Tonight, the Green Bulldogs(5-0, 3-0) traveled to Perry High School and defeated the Perry Panthers(1-2, 0-2) by a score of 46-29. Senior guard Ryan Smith the leading scorer for the Bulldogs with 11 points. Jagger Haynes was Perry's leading scorer with 12 points.Both teams played very good clean defense in the first half with Green leading by a slim margin of 19-13.However, the Bulldogs outscored the Panthers 19-6 in the third quarter and never looked back. An interesting thing about the game was that only four free throws were shot and Green got to shoot all four. The Green JV team also had a win by a score of 54-36. Green travels to Canton next Friday night to face The Canton McKinley Bulldogs beginning at 6:00.
