The Green High School Wrestlers took it to Glenoak last night defeating them in their own gym 48-30!  The JV wrestlers started the night off strong winning 4 of the 5 matches.  Toby Baker, Jakob Johnson, and Quentin Schuman earned victories by pinning their opponents.  Drake Comfort battled to a decisive victory scoring an impressive 9 takedowns in his match, while Devan Harsch lost a close back and forth match at 160 lbs.   

Mitchell Pallotta keep the up the momentum created by the JV team securing a close victory in the opening varsity match of the night.  Nate Booth picked up a quick pin to regain the momentum of the match after the Bulldogs had to forfeit the 113 lb match.  Cade Walker was ready to wrestle, but had to settle for a Glenoak forfeit at 126 lbs.  Next up was three key matchups for the Bulldogs at the 132, 138, and 145 lb weight classes.  Caleb Graber, Nick Davis, and Blake Schaffer respectively secured these victories earning bonus points for the team by pinning their opponents in an impressive fashion.  The Dogs got their first lost of the night in a crazy scramble as sophomore Alex Henry was looking for the pin and ended up getting reversed.  After a forfeit at 160 lbs freshman Garrett Dennis got team back on track earning a crucial pin in the 170 lb match.  Junior Dylan Davis sealed the victory by beating Glenoak standout Seth Corrick with a takedown in overtime.  Adam Abbott took the forfeit at 195 lbs.  Stepping up for the Bulldogs filling the 220 lb and HWT spot was Lucien Kallai and Kellar Bowlin who went out and put it on the line to represent their school.
