Pitching By Grace Shuts Out Archbishop Hoban Knights Varsity, Green Bulldogs Varsity Takes The Win

Grace Hammer threw a shutout to lead Green Bulldogs Varsity past Archbishop Hoban Knights Varsity 5-0 on Saturday.

In the second inning, Green Bulldogs Varsity got their offense started when Ella Collinsworth singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Hammer was credited with the victory for Green Bulldogs Varsity. She allowed five hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one.

Lily Botos took the loss for Archbishop Hoban Knights Varsity. She surrendered five runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out three.

Green Bulldogs Varsity smacked one home run on the day. Hammer went yard in the third inning.

Skylar Schaefer led Green Bulldogs Varsity with two hits in three at bats.

Knicely went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Archbishop Hoban Knights Varsity in hits. Archbishop Hoban Knights Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field.
