Friday, despite a rain delay, the Green High School Boys Varsity Golf Team bounced back to win the Marlington Invitational at Tannenhauf Golf Course near Alliance, Ohio. Green beat 17 other schools in their division including St. Ignatius who the beat by 11 strokes. Green's Kyle Smith was the tournament's Medalist with a score of a 35-35-70 which was 2 under par while Matt Stephan was Runner-up with an even par score of 35-37-72. Others scoring for Green was Grant Sclue with a score of 38-39-77 and Nathan Raymond with a score of 42-40-82. Trez Cobb did not score and shot a 46-41-87. This was Green's second tournament win of the season.
