Congratulations to the Green Boys Varsity Golf Team by advancing to the Division I District Golf Tournament next Monday by shooting 312 and coming in third in today's Division I Sectional Golf Tournament at Tannenhauf. Green's Senior Kyle Smith was the tournament's Medalist by shooting an even par 36-36-72. Kyle carded 3 birdies, 3 pars and 3 bogeys on the front nine and 9 straight pars on the back for his third Sectional Title in his career. More excitement came from Sophomore Silas Kirkpatrick as he had a hole in one on the par 3 11th hole en-route to shooting a 38-40-78. Seniors Evan Raymond(39-41-80) and Brady Trejbal(43-39-82) added to the scoring. Grant Price shot 44-42-86 but did not score. The Green Boys will play for the District Title and trip to the State Tournament next Monday at Pine Hills Golf Club starting at 9:50.
