Today, at Ohio Prestwick Country Club, the Green Varsity Golf Team hosted the Green Boys Invitational Golf Tournament on its Par 72 course and won with a score of 306. The Bulldogs were first out of 25 teams beating Runner-up Walsh by 14 shots. Leading the Bulldogs was Senior Kyle Smith who was the Tournament Medalist shooting an even par round of 72. Also scoring for the Bulldogs was Sophomore Silas Kirkpatrick(76), and Seniors Brady Trejbal and Evan Raymond adding 79s. Playing but not scoring was Senior Grant Price(91). The Green B Team tied for 17th Place shooting a round of 346. Leading the scoring for that team was Senior Trez Cobb firing a score of 80, Sophomore Jackson Keller(86), Sophomore Jonny Stephen(89), and Junior Aaron Payne(91). Sophomore Anthony shot 99 but did not count in the scoring. The Green Varsity will travel to Spring Valley tomorrow to play Canton Mckinley starting around 3:00.
