JV Orange kicked their season off on a scorching hot Monday at home. Thanks to the ever present road construction Field arrived late, but the contest kicked off on time. Both younger squads took to the game aggressively and after a shaky 10 minutes, Green warmed to the game. For a full 72 the teams went back and forth in a game that resembled basketball as much as it did soccer. Both teams hit the woodwork, and sophomore keeper Nathan Phillips made a series of good saves in his high school debut late to preserve a draw.
