Green drops one to local rivals

For ten minutes at the end of the first half, Green threatened to make something happen in this game. The Bulldogs fell behind early but, as has been their wont, fought their way back into the game. A couple of chances went begging, but Green was on the front foot. Then things went sideways for the Bulldogs. A brilliant save by Max McKee was somewhat diminished by the small fact McKee wasn't playing keeper. With their indefatigable holding mid off and down to 10 men, Green couldn't find their way back into the game. Next would be Dover in the home opener.
